Do You Charge The Same Rate At Weekends?
Weekend rates are marginally marked up from weekday rates, because we pay our guys overtime.
Do We Use Subcontractors?
Not all the time. But when we do use subcontractors you can be rest assured that all our contractors are well vetted and trusted Partners.
Do You Work On Sundays?
Yes we do, but only limited slots (strongly advice Advance on bookings)
Do You Work On Bank Holidays?
Yes! We have limited slots available on Easter, May and August bank holidays. We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day
Are Your Services Insured?
All our Service Providers comes with a goods in transit insurance at standard, to protect customers belongings on transit from £200 – £50,000 at the time of the job. Should you require more information Please speak to a member of staff.
How Big Are The Vehicles?
Our fleet is made up of purpose built everyday goods transport and removals vehicles, the three standard sizes are below.
3.5 Tonne Luton Van
- holds approximately 800 cuft of volume so can hold anything up to a 2-3 bed flat.
- External dimensions – 15.6ft long x 7.3ft wide x 10.5ft high.
- Internal dimensions – 13ft long x 7ft wide x 8ft high.
Large Transit Van
- Our Transit 330 has a payload capacity of 1239kg to 1337kg
- External dimensions – 18.7ft long x 6.7ft wide x 9.1ft high.
- Internal dimensions – 9.1ft long x 5.6ft wide x 8.8ft high.
Small Van
- Our Small standard van has a loading capacity of 350 cuft of volume.
- External dimensions – 11.5ft long x 5.9ft wide x 6.6ft high.
- Internal dimensions – 9.7ft long x 5.6ft wide x 6.2ft high.
Do You Dump Or Recycle Furniture?
Yes This can also be arranged between you and the driver however we do offer a special waste and recycling Service. Speak with a member of staff for details.
Can We Have A Discount?
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we usually provide cheaper service.
Do You Do Evening Removals?
Yes. but these may attract a premium rate if the move runs into the late hours.
Can You Move Pianos?
We can move pianos from ground floor to ground floor or to and from other floors if there is a lift available. We also work closely with a professional piano removing company for the more challenging piano removals.
Can We Tip Workers?
Yes! please feel free to tip our divers & labourers if you feel they have done a brilliant job and gone the extra mile for you.
